Parties and private events at Bistro Central
Hosting a group? Bistro Central is a strong choice. We’re a bistro on the corner of Ny Østergade in central Copenhagen, where classics from the French-Italian kitchen come out of a kitchen that knows what it’s doing, and where the bar is part of the offer, not an afterthought. The group menu is a set price, so you know what it costs in advance, whether you’re ten or sixteen.
Birthday, company dinner, a milestone, or just a group dinner that needs to be properly good. With room for 80 guests in the restaurant and 30 on the terrace, we’ll find a setting that fits the occasion.
You can go about it in two ways. You decide whether you want help all the way through, or whether you just want to book and look forward to it.
Option 1: Personal planning for your evening

This route is the right one if you’re a larger group, have specific wishes for the menu, or just want a hand to hold along the way. We know the bistro best, and we’re happy to help you land it right.
Option 2: Book directly for up to 16 guests
If it needs to be quick, you can book directly for up to 16 guests. You choose one of our group menus, and the rest is sorted. No back and forth, no waiting. Just pick a menu, book the table, and turn up.
This is the easy route when you know what you want and want it locked in right away.
Morning meeting
Start the day with coffee, pastries and a quiet corner of the bistro. We do morning meetings for groups of 8 to 40 with room for a projector, or just a good conversation.
Friday bar
One of the better corners in central Copenhagen for a Friday bar. Reserve the bar, set up a package with snacks and drinks, and give your team a soft landing into the weekend.
Reception
Standing reception with snacks, wine and cocktails, before or after dinner. We build the package around the number of guests and the length, and we have room for everything from intimate receptions to bigger gatherings.
Birthdays
Round number or not, we host birthdays the way we do everything else: without the stiff bit. Our group menu Menu Central, with burrata, steak frites and panna cotta, is the classic, but we can put something else together if you’d rather. More info to follow.
Drinks and snacks package
A simple option when you’re not after a full dinner but still want the setting in place. Selected snacks from the menu paired with a drinks package from the bar.
Buyout and wedding
The whole of Bistro Central, to yourselves. Right for a wedding dinner, a company anniversary, or an event that needs the whole room. Room for 80 inside and 30 on the terrace. Get in touch and we’ll sort the rest.
